September 11th in New York City, Part Two

Part one is here and Part two is here. Or you could just scroll down, you lazy bums.

So, as I was walking around Ground Zero listening to the names being read, I saw a circle of people holding banners and praying for peace:

Right next to them, a man was sitting on the street, playing "Amazing Grace" on a flute. He had the most extraordinarily sad eyes:

The entire Ground Zero site is surrounded by a fence, and people were placing flowers, pictures, art, and other tributes all along the perimeter:

After the names were read, a man gave a brief speech and ended with this quote by Wallace Stevens:

After the final no there comes a yes
and on that yes the future world depends

Then, two trumpets sang Taps.
