Once we moved all our crap into the new house (with LOADS of help - did you see the two Penske trucks?), our next major project was to paint the dining room, living room, kitchen, and den. That's a helluva lot of painting, if you want to know, and my very handy and wonderful parents volunteered to drive out here and help us with the task.
Let me tell you, Internet: the paint situation was dire. Aside from the fact that the splotches of paint on the baseboards, kitchen cabinets, and windows indicated to us that the person who painted the house did so with his gimpy left foot, the large back wall of the den was covered by a horrendous faux finish and the color palette in two rooms looked like something out of a colostomy bag.
Seriously, if I had named the paint colors, I would have called the color of our living room "Guacamole Vomit" and the color of our kitchen "Baby Diaper Blowout." Of course, "Doo-doo Brown" has a nice ring to it as well.
Someone should really tell people that any color found on the inside of a baby's diaper is not a suitable color for wall paint.

Yep, I could introduce your house's former owners to a whole new world of color between my two in diapers!
