When we left Alabama last week, we left driving two moving trucks and pulling our little Honda on a trailer behind one of them. We stopped to fill the tanks before leaving town, and, when I went inside the gas station to retrieve our receipts, the lady behind the counter smiled at me and asked, "Y'all moving?"
I resisted the urge to respond by saying, "No. Why do you ask?"

You should have given the woman her sign.
TWO TRUCKS? Tomorrow we are picking up our ONE 22 foot Penski truck that will be towing Jenn's car behind it.
We're right there with ya in the big move world.
Yes, yes, two trucks. There's a tiny simdge of justification for such brazen overabundance; N and I took our 2 separate households before getting married and moving to Kentucky, packed them into a storage shed in Alabama, received about a bajillion wedding presents and packed them away, and promptly forgot about it all until now. Now we're sorting through everything, constantly saying things like, "Oh, YOU have a spatula, too!" and then siphoning things off to a burgeoning "garage sale" pile.
Hope your move is less complicated!
